Built in 1954, Summerhill Station stops on Toronto’s Yonge-University-Spadina subway line. It’s known for being a quieter station, with ridership on the lower side. Interestingly, the station wasn’t always entirely underground – the section connecting it to St. Clair Station used to be an open cut that’s since been covered. The station is undergoing construction to improve accessibility, and elevators are being added.
